WHY AM I SO NICE

Not really but when I am I feel like I’m nice to the wrong people.

so, just in case y’all think that fat fetishization isn’t a big deal, or just in case you think that fatphobia doesn’t exist

fat fetishization of fat girls is often linked to sexism. this is proof of that. notice how i did nothing to to provoke this guy. he went on this tirade for close to a half hour while i said nothing. he just kept going.

this is so disgusting honestly wow

I literally had a similar conversation the other day. So much no.

"In a very ridiculous way, I was thinking that I had control over when my baby was going to come… on Friday night he decided he wanted to start coming and he wanted to get there by Saturday, and so I texted Mike Shoemaker and Seth in the middle of the night and said, “I’m not going to make the show tomorrow.” From what I understand, it was really exciting because everyone had these fill-ins for my parts. Elisabeth Moss filled in for herself in a “Mad Men” sketch, and she met Fred Armisen that night, and a year later, on my son’s birthday, they were married. That was also the night where Seth had to do “Update” for the first time, and I held my newborn son in my arms as I watched Maya and Kenan sing a song to me and him. Seth tapped on the “Update” desk, which he does now pretty regularly out of a lovely habit, and I felt it was really one of those really incredibly moving moments where all these moments in my life were happening at the same time and I felt my heart crack open.

It was just love with a capital L all over there. Getting it, receiving it, feeling it, seeing this little person, my first son, and seeing the people I loved so much at my job. It felt very real to me and it is very real to me. I treasure the love and relationships that I have there and continue to have because of that job."

Let’s have a change of language here, Tumblr.

Something from a celebrity that has been “leaked” is something that was planned to become public one day but had been revealed in advance (whether by mistake or from someone with a malicious intent).

Those nudes pics ? Not leaked. Stolen.

So let’s stop saying “leaked pics” and call them what they are : stolen pics.

Let’s shift the blame on the real assholes and not put the blame on the victims, even unconsciously.

This.

asezawesome replied to your post “So, the airshow is this weekend. Let me tell you, that does wonders…”

Airshows are the most obnoxious form of alleged entertainment imaginable. Noise pollution, air pollution, fuel waste. Ugh. I hope you can find some peace.

They really are. Luckily, they ended early today. Just one more day of screaming jets and it’s over.

Yo, the air show has been happening here too! All damn day.

I can’t nap after working 6 days this week, like I do every fucking week, cause this bullshit is too Damn loud.

You WILL want to watch this.

In the early morning hours on 8/16/2014 in Ferguson, MO, Greg Thomas spoke with VICE about Ferguson, structural racism, media bias and more!!!

Please reblog & signal boost so we can get this truth out!!

Greg Thomas can be found on twitter, here: Minossec

#Ferguson #MikeBrown

Spread this!!!!

From 2:00 onwards:

The St. Louis Dispatch, they did a thing where, yesterday, they went over to Florissant and asked white people in Starbucks, “What do you think about what’s going on in Ferguson?” First off, most of them weren’t even watching the news and had no idea what happened, but they knew a boy was killed, and their reaction was, “Well, what did he do to deserve it? I know he did something.”

That is embedded in the system. That is embedded within white privilege, and within the country itself: that people are bad because they deserve it.

We have this whole Puritanical system that is set up from the people who got kicked out of England for being too radical…that people who have bad things happen to them deserve it. So, we must’ve deserved slavery. We must’ve deserved Jim Crow. We must’ve deserved 100:1 crack laws. We must’ve deserved the war on drugs. We must’ve deserved racial policing. So now, if you have that mentality about black people, and it gets passed on from person to person, generation to generation, that black people deserve what happened to them, then, when you go ask them, there’s not questions. It’s, “Well, wrong happened to them, so they must’ve deserved it.”

Incredible. Please watch this.
